At Takosushi, we believe food is one of the simplest ways people connect with each other. Every day, we’re happy to see our customers sharing meals, stories, and time together. And to show our gratitude to you all for making Takosushi a part of your lives, we do whatever we can to serve more than food: we work to be in true service to our communities.

That’s why, throughout Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina you’ll find a Takosushi “Team Tako” joining events and partnering with organizations to support local causes, especially ones that address issues like hunger and poverty.

Takosushi draws inspiration from the southwestern United States and eastern Asia to create fare you won’t find anywhere else. We put our hearts into selecting ingredients and flavors that make our dishes as unique as they are delicious.

Takosushi is passionate about serving inventive, authentic food. We are invested in nourishing our communities. And we are thankful to be a part of yours.

ABCCM

Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry is a leading non-profit organization addressing poverty, hunger, homelessness and access to health care for the under-served in Buncombe County.  Begun as a small collaboration of churches in 1969, ABCCM has played a significant role in meeting emergency assistance needs for families. Please visit their site to see how you can get involved.

Transformation Village is ABCCM’s vision to assist single women, moms with children, and ladies of the armed service who are experiencing homelessness to heal and develop life and employment skills for bright, hopeful futures. There are more than 300 women and children on the waiting list for Steadfast House, and 804 homeless children in Asheville's local school systems. They have heard their cries and developed a plan to meet this critical need that all city and county leaders agree on – hope for homeless women and children.

Phase I of Transformation Village will triple their Steadfast House capacity. It will include a community center with safe and secure living spaces, a training center to prepare women for careers to earn living-wages, playground and green spaces, and education play center for children, medical clinic, commercial kitchen and dining area.

ABCCM needs your support through volunteerism and philanthropy. Their goal is to inspire individuals, corporations and foundations to help them raise $5M within the next twelve (12) months. They invite you to join them in welcoming every homeless woman and child into Transformation Village. Please call Carolyn Cronin, Capital Campaign Director, 828-398-6741 for more information.
